The Physical Therapy Department in the Rehabilitation Center has the latest cutting edge equipment that can help patients recover from diseases that otherwise would have been debilitating.

Physical therapy (or physiotherapy) interventions may include manual handling, movement enhancement, electrotherapeutic or mechanical agents, functional training and other techniques.

A physical therapist will initially conduct a review of a patient's medical history, and then go on to assess the strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, muscle power, respiration and motor function of the patient.

In collaboration with the client, the therapist then develops a strategy that outlines the purpose and goals of treatment and the anticipated outcome.
