The
Hong Kong Adventist Hospital works to exceed statutory
requirements and patients' expectations.
In 2006, the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital is proud to
become the first hospital in Hong Kong and Macau to
receive accreditation from the Joint
Commission International (JCI).
Joint Commission International (JCI) is the international
affiliate of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), a non-governmental
organization that has been involved in the establishment
of standards and quality management systems in healthcare
in the United States since 1951.
Most
states in America accept the accreditation by the Joint
Commission as a condition for licensure. The Joint Commission
on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and Joint
Commission International (JCI) were designated as the
world's first WHO Collaborating Centers dedicated solely
to patient safe in August 2005.
The Hong Kong Adventist Hospital has been assessed
to exceed Organization Standards of the Trent Accreditation
Board from the United Kingdom too. For consecutive years
since 2000, the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital has been
receiving full accreditation from the Trent Accreditation
Board.
By choosing to receive medical care only from an internationally
accredited hospital, you are guaranteed that the level
of care you receive is of international standard.
