The
Hong Kong Adventist Hospital works to exceed statutory
requirements and patients' expectations.
The Hong Kong Adventist Hospital has been assessed
to exceed Organization Standards of the Trent Accreditation
Board from the United Kingdom too. For consecutive years
since 2000, the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital has been
receiving full accreditation from the Trent Accreditation
Board.
Besides, the hospital was accredited by Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) in 2010. It is an international accreditation organization, recognized by the International Society for Quality in Health Care Ltd. (ISQua). It was responsible for assessing hospitals using a total of 45 criteria with achievement levels of little, some, moderate, extensive and outstanding. The hospital received impressive results, with “extensive achievement” in a number of categories while the rest were rated as having “moderate achievement”.
The clinical laboratory at Hong Kong Adventist Hospital has received accreditation under the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) in December 2009. This is the first international accreditation has been awarded to private hospital laboratory in Hong Kong, highlights our commitment to ensuring the highest standards in our laboratories and to producing reliable and accurate diagnostic information.
