Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)

The center is equipped with the "Dornier Compact Delta II with UIMS" system, used for the treatment of different urinary stones in various locations, including renal stones, ureteric stones, and under certain circumstances, bladder stones. Using X-ray and ultrasonic imaging techniques, the system pulverizes renal stones externally with high energy shock waves. The crushed stones are excreted from the body through urination.
