Orthopaedic Fund

Robotic Assisted Total Knee Replacement Surgery Charity Program

Degenerative knee osteoarthritis is a common joint disease that can lead to cartilage wear, pain, and stiffness in the knee, renders patient difficult to perform daily activities. Traditional knee replacement surgery involves opening the knee joint, removing the damaged cartilage and bone, and replacing the joint with an artificial joint implant to restore the joint function. In recent years, robot-assisted total knee replacement surgery has gained popularity. This innovative approach utilizes computer navigation and robotic arm technology to perform precise bone cutting and artificial joint implantation, resulting in a more accurate, minimally invasive, and efficient procedure.

The Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation - Stubbs Road is pleased to launch Robotic Assisted Total Knee Replacement Surgery Charity Program. This initiative aims to provide treatment support for patients facing financial difficulties, allowing them to receive timely care and return to normal life as soon as possible.
