Security Officer (Full-time) Facility Management Department

Duties
  • Manage security team, security systems (e.g. CCTV, access control, alarm system, etc.), traffic and parking facilities.
  • Control, direct, and train a team of in-house and outsourced security personnel to safeguard the hospital premises and protect safety of all properties and occupants
  • Take charge of the administration and operations of the Security Force;
  • Develop, announce, and implement the hospital’s security policy, procedures and guidelines
  • Perform regular patrol on time and pay particular attention to security of all surroundings.
  • Maintain public order by performing car park, traffic, and crowd control and media handling
  • Provide escort services for patients and VIPs
  • Assist to handle complaints and enquiries and carry out adequate action to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Handle any security and traffic incident with logging, damages recording, compensation arrangement, and incident reporting
  • Handle emergencies and manage any potential risks or irregularities of hospital facilities
  • Coordinate and participate various drills, including security and emergencies related drills
  • Report irregularities to prevent losses and damages including inform violators of policy and procedures, restrain trespasser, etc.
  • Handle the lost property with implementation of reporting and recording procedures
  • Prepare and consolidate regular reports for management review;
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisor
  • Good interpersonal and effective communication skills, able to work independently under pressure, polite, honest with good integrity
  • Working hours: 9 hours per day (1 hour meal break), 6 days per week
Requirement
  • Diploma or above, preferably in security management or related disciplines;
  • Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit (SPP)
  • QAS Training Certificate
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 1 and 2)
  • At least 5 years related security experience in supervisory role in a sizeable organization and preferable in healthcare sector
  • Knowledge of PC applications and Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Cantonese and Mandarin, written Chinese, spoken and written English
