Packages include
- Operation costs (operating room and equipment, consumables, and materials required for operation)
- Charges for companion bed (one person)
- Accommodation fee
- Fees for basic care during hospital stay
Terms and Conditions:
- The promotion period is from now until 30 September, 2025.
- Package does not include:
- Doctors’ fees, including pediatric surgeon and anesthesiologist fees
- Fees for other doctors consulted during hospital stay, meals and personal consumables (such as diapers and cotton pads) used during hospital stay
- Medication fees
- Charges for changing of bed within the same accommodation grade
- Charges for additional examinations, lab tests, medication, treatment, surgery, and nursing care not included in the package that may be required due to specific or pre-existing condition(s) of the patient
- Charges or fees incurred for services provided before the package comes into effect and/or after patient discharge, additional fees incurred as a result of:
- Procedure exceeding allotted time and complications arising from procedure
- Emergency services, additional examinations, or treatments provided that are beyond the scheduled procedure
- Additional medications or use of medical supplies not included in the package
- Transfer to special care unit or intensive care unit
- Re-operation and extended hospital stay
- Services and items not listed under the “packages include” list are not covered and will be charged accordingly.
- Packages may not be applied or canceled after completion of the procedure.
- All package items are fixed. If, for any reason, an item within a package cannot be provided or conducted, no refund or exchange will be offered.
- The packages are only applicable to specialists in pediatric surgery with privileges at Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Stubbs Road (HKAH – SR), and require advanced booking through these specialists. For details on the suitability of these packages for your child, please discuss with your specialist in pediatric surgery.
- A consultation with a specialist in pediatric surgery is required prior to the procedure. The specialist will determine the suitability of the patient for the package depending on his/her needs.
- Length of stay is based on a 24-hour day, with effect from the time of admission registration.
- Packages take effect from the time of admission registration for the specific procedure included in the package. Refunds are not available, under any circumstance, in the event of discharge that is earlier than as indicated in the package.
- Patients may indicate their room type preference upon admission, though availability is not guaranteed. Patient accommodation may not be downgraded after admission. If patients choose to upgrade their accommodation after admission, the entire package will be charged at the higher rate.
- Packages are only applicable to the operating room’s office hours: Mondays to Thursdays, 08:00 - 22:00; Fridays and Sundays, 08:00 - 18:00. Non-of ce hours of operating room: Saturdays and hospital holidays.
- Eligibility for the above packages is based on the recommendation of the specialist and each patient’s actual condition. HKAH – SR reserves the right of final decision regarding the suitability of the packages for patients.
- If the patient is diagnosed with a disease that differs from the original diagnosis and requires a different course of treatment subsequent to admission to hospital, HKAH – SR may invalidate the package and apply charges according to the new treatment required. In this case, patients (or their next of kin/authorized persons) will be informed of the new charges and their consent will be sought before the new course of treatment is administered.
- Hong Kong Adventist Hospital - Stubbs Road reserves the right to update the fee schedule, brochure, terms and conditions. Any change of fee schedule will be announced and notices will be published in advance, in accordance with the statutory notice period. Any other changes except the fee schedule may be made at any time as it sees fit without prior notice, you are advised to check the latest information before using our services.
