Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Stubbs Road and Tsuen Wan successfully received Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the fourth time in August this year, and were awarded the "Gold Seal of Approval" for the third time.
On 15 September, we held a celebration where hospital management personally presented ice cream and fruit to colleagues in appreciation of their efforts. This accreditation is both the result of every department's rigorous commitment and our promise to every patient. We will continue to uphold this rigor and dedication in safeguarding everyone's health.
JCI is the world's largest international healthcare accrediting body, with reviews covering over 1,000 standards and an overall compliance rate of over 90% required to receive the Gold Seal. Its U.S. parent organization, The Joint Commission (TJC), awards the equivalent Gold Seal to leading hospitals such as Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins Hospital. This honor reflects Hong Kong Adventist Hospital's continued alignment with the highest international standards in medical quality and patient safety management.
