Step 1: |
Online booking |
After receiving your booking request, you will be contacted within 24 hours. Existing clients of HKAH – SR may make appointment via HKAH mobile app for real-time booking. Walk-in services are not available. |

Step 2: |
Arrive and register |
Arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointed time for screening at the hospital’s front entrance. You will then be asked to register at the out-patient registration desk, after which you will be directed by hospital staff to waiting area 3 located in the out-patient department on the ground floor. |

Step 3: |
Sign consent form |
Medical staff will briefly review important information about the vaccine with you and ask you to sign a consent form. |

Step 4: |
Vaccination |
Medical staff will administer the vaccine, and provide you with a printed record of your vaccination. |

Step 5: |
Proceed to resting area |
Rest for 15 to 30 minutes at the waiting area. You may leave the hospital if you do not experience any adverse reactions within this time. |

All patients and visitors must abide by the hospital’s infection control and triage procedures.

Please wear a mask at all times and maintain social distance.
- Please bring your personal identification (e. Hong Kong identity card or Hong Kong birth certificate) and SMS message confirming your booking. Moreover, please also bring your proof of imunocompromised individuals and/or child vaccination record booklet if needed.

Q1. Which COVID-19 vaccine does Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Stubbs Road provide?
HKAH – SR is offering Fosun/BioNTech “Comirnaty” Bivalent vaccine to eligible persons. Prior to making a booking, please read through the vaccination fact sheet on government website (HERE).
Q2. What should I do if I experience side effects after vaccination?
Prior to making a booking, please read through the vaccination fact sheet on government website (HERE).
Generally, common side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine are minor and temporary. Some people may experience more serious side effects, though this is rare. After vaccination, you will be asked to wait at the waiting area for 15 to 30 minutes.
To alleviate pain at the injection site, try applying a cool compress made with a damp towel and move your arm around. Drink more water to relieve discomfort caused by a low fever.
If you experience any of the following, please consult a doctor or medical professional:

Redness or pain at the injection site that worsens 24 hours after injection

Side effects that do not subside after a few days, or

Side effects that are worrying you

Q3. What should I do if I experience discomfort or serious side effects while waiting in the rest area?
Medical staff will ensure your side effects are stabilized before transferring you to a public hospital for follow-up treatment if necessary.
Q4. What should I do if the results show that I am unsuitable for the COVID-19 vaccination?
If you are determined to be unsuitable for the COVID-19 vaccine, please reschedule your appointment immediately.

Q6. Who are eligible for the certain groups of people who can receive the additional dose(s) of COVID-19 vaccine?

For clients aged from 12 to 17 years, it is requested to provide a consent form signed by their parents/ guardians for getting their COVID-19 vaccinations. The consent form can be downloaded HERE.
