Liver cancer and pancreatic cancer are both leading causes of cancer death in Hong Kong. As symptoms are not obvious during the early stages, many patients miss the golden window for treatment. Surgery for late-stage pancreatic cancer is complex and risky, so early detection and treatment is crucial to improve treatment outcomes.

Beginning October 1, 2021, for all special clinic bookings, the Hospital will charge the patients a “facility fee” of
HK$500 per 30 minutes session for regular consultation and a HK$1,500 “facility charge – procedure” for
consultation / treatment requiring special equipment.
